this is no event in your life. not until you actually have a relationship.

again. repeat after me: smile and say hi.

men live these moments in their minds. women are all about the immediacy of these moments, the here and now. that is truly how simple it is for them. trust me, she knew you were interested before YOU knew you were interested. saying hi and smiling is your way of letting her know that you know that she knows and giving her the space to let it be okay.

While this sounds like a debate about causality, it is true, alarmingly.

OK, I have to stay focused. Ask about hiking/biking is first priority. Say hi to other chick at some point, too, though.

I sure am going to remember this year, though. My 21st year on this earth started off normally enough but sure got interesting.

You see with her she knows I like to bike since I've talked with her many times before. And I am not going to give a canned compliment.

Really, what I am looking to get out of this is a nice bike ride with someone.

I've upped my challenge, Max. My flight instructor told me today that he is taking a month off, in about a month. I am going to see if I can get this test done and passed in about two weeks. Then get airborne again and see how many hours i can knock out before he leaves. I have about 10 or solo hours, but I need him for some x-country flights.

Fun, fun.

Night all. I have caused enough trouble short of actually setting the laptop on fire.

Someone make sure and tell Rick he is grounded........

I have a feeling we won't be able to coordinate our schedules to be able to ride, though. I guess I could give her my email. I think she already has it though from the dynamics lab section.

Ah, I see it now. And I thought the Stijn! thread was about nothing!

Overthinking what? I don't have any special powers to know what people are thinking (and I am not so sure I would want those powers, unless they could be turned off at will). Just going by what happened last time we discussed the subject. Though that was before winter set in. Weather is nicer now.

I don't really care if she has feelings for me or not. I wouldn't be able to tell if she did. She is nice just as a friend.

I like what we have right now- I can be myself around her with no pressure. Very comfortable.
