The weather yesterday afternoon was perfect chamber of commerce weather. The wind machine was broken and it was 68 or 70 degrees. That big bright thing was back in the sky all day and the yard finally dried out. I got to edge, trim & mow the yard while the wife planted a few dozen plants.

Good morning fellas!

Glen, you make me laugh! I always cook. I love to cook. I used to bake and cook when I had more time. Hmmmm... Maybe I need to change that. Try not to bake so much except for cupcakes for the boys because then I eat it!

Flying back to CA today for the rest of the week... Not pretty Newport Beach though.

My wife is the HR director at a local University. OU & OSU are the big universities and get most of the state funding. The university where my wife works is the one that keeps getting awards on their cost saving programs. They make due with a tiny percentage of the budget and staff of the other schools. She usually comes home mentally exhausted.

Cooking has never been one of my things. I just never got into it except for Spaghetti, and she does not like it the way I make it.

We eat out a lot.

I am the cook in the house and I am better at it. She will admit it. Started with her in law school. If I got home from work I'd cook.

I eat out a lot when I travel for work but when I am at home, I like to cook. Sometimes I don't have the time or energy but I try. And right now my boys don't have adventurous tastes right now so it is hard just cooking for one person. I usually make something and drop off all the rest to friends. My friends love me.

Wow! I guess I need to look towards older men? They seem to know how to cook more than the young ones...

I guess I remember the days of being broke. I bought my first house before I probably should have. I had to scrape up every nickle to pay the utilities and insurance. I ate a lot of rice and beans. This was before Ramen noodles, so I ate cheap, and almost never out.

Speaking of food, time for lunch. I am meeting the Stick for lunch.

I can cook a 4-5 course gastronomical dindin for 30-40 people, on my own.
In a regular kitchen , though it's bound to get a bit messy.

have to admit, it's been a long while, i don't get challenges like that to often.

Yeah, I've been slacking. I have gotten side tracked with more urgent schoolwork. Plus I had already seen these two weeks coming where I am working to get ahead in school so I can go to the races on the weekend. Next week I might be able to make more progress. Dave's ahead at the moment but things can change pretty quickly in my situation- good or bad. I decided that today was not the right setting/situation to ask my friend about her friend. If I had been somewhat more alone with her, not in a classroom with others around I might have. I will try tomorrow. I might just go for introducing myself. Everyone has places to go after class so there is no real downtime to chat about such frivolous matters.

I am a really picky eater so I can make certain stuff but it is really boring and most of the time I just want quick nourishment so it is really bland, but not unhealthy.

No, curly. Like her facebook photo.

I would say my favorite is curly hair but depending on the girl other hair styles and colors can look very good. Red-heads, brunettes, blondes, I am not picky. But blue eyes do strike me. That is the main thing that captivates me. It is hard to describe it. They just seem so sparkly and make you want to look deeper into them. Maybe it is because I have blue (well more of a greenish blue) eyes?
