I made that comment in verbal irony as I know that they are right.

Right now I am more interested in finding a job and eventually a career type job around the SLO area so that I can move up there for the forseeable future.

Thats probably the most sensible thing to do Max. The wimenz can smell if your trying too hard and that wont do you any good.

I've said it before, stop trying and it'll happen by itself. That doesn't mean stop talking to them, and making friends with them. Do this for a confidence boost. And maybe one day one of your lady friends will set you up without you even asking.

Eventually you'll get lured into a beer trap like I did and SNAP! It's all over.

'sup dudes and dudette. happy birthday sid. max, sorry i couldnt make it out there after work. we had half of our crew call in "sick" today.

irritating news on the Exige. I had the PPI done on Thursday. After the PPI, i wanted to talk to the dealer. They didn't answer their phone. I called yesterday, and wasn't able to get through to them. I finally got ahold of them today....magically the car was sold this morning. Really pissed me off. They didn't even bother trying to call me and give me first shot at it. I'm sure they told the buyer "oh yeah...just had a PPI done on it yesterday. passed with flying colors." ...on my dime. i am beyond pissed.

Yeah, I am still going to check out the farmers market this Thursday. I've heard so much about it that I have to go at least once.

Her who? I went to a race today and the only females there other than driver's wives was Regan whom I talked to but she's already dating someone.

Drove from SLO to TO (~160 miles south/east on the coastal 101 freeway route) yesterday, then drove 90 miles north or northeastish to the high desert today, back to TO, then back to SLO tomorrow afternoon for class 8AM Monday.

1. I think the rules of Dave's contest state that you have to have a "meaningful conversation" with a woman (to whom you're at least mildly attracted, of course). Doesn't have to be a formal date. I'd think that if that cute blonde at school had a BF, but you were able to have a cup of hot chocolate with her and a chat, that would count. So Regan having a BF (if you're interested in her) shouldn't be an issue.

2. Ancient Korean saying (I'm not Korean, but it was told to me by one): Just because there's a goalie, doesn't mean you can't score.

In college, my usual gang consisted of a few Army Infantrymen and a few Marines......we had a similar saying............rings come off and boyfriends can be disposed of.

I don't think the blonde girl would go for that if she had a bf already.

Regan is cute, but the whole situation is a little- I don't know. I am friends with way too many of the others involved.
