On to any other subject. PLEASE

I went and turned in my paperwork for my OK CCW today.... They nearly make you feel like a convict. You have to turn in at the Sheriff in your county of residence. I go in and they send me around to a side door with visitors badge. I walk through a damn maze, and end up in the booking room. They take my prints, and then I'm free to leave. Now I should have a permit in about 90days unless they find a reason to not issue me one....

Also went and got the under 21 box removed from my drivers license, tomorrow I am turning in my stuff for a passport, after that I should be good to go.

My head hurts from work today. I have a customer that wants the strangest information on a aerial map. I have to open his file is Google Earth, extract the KMZ files, import that into one program, export those files into two different programs to combine them into a final yet different map making program we use to make EPS files that I can then import into PhotoShop to make PDF files. The bad news is he has about 20 different locations I have to do that to. The good news is he did not even flinch when I quoted a price per location.

I just just think of it as job security.

Oh, there is some text editing I have to do in Notepad so that is one other step.

Hey Paul I sent Pat an email to get in touch with ya. Heads up, here comes the FastPat.
Glad to hear the 356 is all worked out, I figured Matt would be able to handle it. That is a great group of people. (damn I like being connected)

Well, spent the last half hour screwing around with the galaxy tan and finally have it pretty close to how I want it set up. Pretty nice overall, especially for the price.

hey glen, just for the record...ATC hates photogrammetric missions. ha! i had two guys mapping at 32,000 feet on both of sides of my arrival corridors into every airport in the LA Valleys and Basin yesterday. each mission was 6+30 minutes. kind of felt bad for the guy. on sunday, he wanted to map and he kept wavering from his lines, so we cancelled his mission. i guess his company complained so he came back up on monday to do it. i had to do a lot of coordinating with albuquerque center, making sure that they were slinging guys into him. talk about a headache day.
