Kinda warm today. A little more humid than usual and no nice breeze like Saturday. Summer will be fun. My appartment complex is great at absorbing and retaining heat and there is no air conditioning. Glad I have my big fan, ice packs, and cold drinks ready.

The good news is they are predicting it to cool off some in the next couple days. We will see if that actually happens.

It seems every time I visit a place with no AC I hear "it is never usually this warm."

In Keystone Colorado the hotel was not air conditioned. Only the restaurant had AC. They had a goofy set of fans to suck air in from one window, over to the bed room and out the other window. It was nice and cool in the mornings but by the end of the day the building was HOT. When we stayed in San Francisco I asked before I booked the rooms if it was air conditioned.

I have been here for 4 years so I have learned to cope. I have never done summer but I have been here for plenty of 100 degree + days during the fall. The worst part is that it stays warm at night so you are always sticky and hot.

With luck you will get replaced in the IT department for lack of performance.

So I suggested something a little easier. She seemed willing enough. Sunday afternoon/evening walk on the foot trails in Poly Canyon. I will ride my bike in the morning up Cerro San Luis I think.

And now I just hope that the plans actually happen.

Tomorrow there is another film for the 60's class. It is the one I was most looking forward to: The Weather Underground and Fly Jefferson Airplane. I am also planning on going to the one with Santana in it.

Yeah, I just thought he was ok before I got the Abraxas album the prof suggested. I have seen bits of Woodstock too.
