I'm broke. Can't buy the parts. With the loss of a couple of clients last year, this year sucks financially. Not sure what I am going to do.

Noah: what color is that 993 Turbo your friend is selling? I saw a nice one on RockStorePhotos (well, from Shera actually) today.

Black.

That car is incredible. I'd so love to have 60 thousand disposable dollars. Maybe the 996 turbos are just as good (if not better) drivers for $20K less, but it's a shame they look rather unspectacular.

Friend of mine (also on pelican - Mulholland911) had a modded 996 Turbo. 650 hp I think he said. Said that it kept breaking the front differential. He sold it for $40k since he knew the values were low and that was a pretty good price at the moment. He wanted to get out of it because it just did not feel so fun. It was fast but not thrilling. So you would get a ticket but not have any fun. He still has a backdated SC that looks like my car except silver with all black wheels. His has a normal CIS motor and stock suspension, though. He says that car is much more fun. He's a cool guy. Got some interesting stories to tell.
