Got called in for a second interview today and they laid out the plan for the shop. The kind of laying out that is only important if they are bringing me on board. just waiting for them to call me for the wizz quiz

My ME friend and I were the first two to finish the EE midterm today (within seconds of each other). Then we hung out for the extra hour we had before lab and proceeded to finish the lab in about an hour (we have 3 hours scheduled for it), way before anyone else. Our group is 3 ME seniors.

It is fun to take a 200 level class again. Like shooting fish in a barrel. All the EE underclassmen were complaining about how hard the stuff is.

I'm trying to recruit one of the EEs. I actually went to high school with him. He was a year ahead but apparently has taken a couple years away from college for work or something. He's interested in the FSAE car and I mentioned we are going to test drive it a week from Friday so I will see if he shows up.

Fcuk! I just got an email that said one of the classes I was enrolled in for fall quarter(ME431 Mechanical Design Techniques) has been cancelled due to "an unexpected change in the instructors availability". I heard last quarter that he was kinda old and hadn't taught in a while. I don't think he up and died, but not sure what happened.

Now I really need to try to get into the classes I am waitlisted on.

Are you a senior? Shouldn't you get first pick?

Yeah, I can use that to my advantage. Most teachers give seniors first pick.

I guess it is not as bad as I first thought, because there are no labs that I am waitlisted for. Those are always the sticking point because the amount of equipment limits the number enrolled.

But I might be too far down the wait lists. I was dead last on the registration rotation for fall quarter.
