I am scheduled for a 10:30 surgery to pop out the staples, and they are looking for a hematoma. The Doc is thinking there is a pocket of blood that is slowly breaking down. The same treatment would be used to get rid of and infection. I will be the only patient in surgery, so the only one in recovery.

 Anybody want to have a cupcake? I still have the lemon ones to frost. Vanilla frosting. Glen, hematoma, huh? That might be why you have so much pain. Pressure from a building blood pocket is painful. If it is that, you will feel much relief when they drain it. You will have VIP treatment if you are the only one there.  Jeff, your trip sounds awesome. I love the outdoors. It is a good way to escape the daily routine of life and realize it is all crap and we could all basically live off the land. Hmm... but have to say I am not familiar with this mankini thing with a sock? Don't know if I should delve further... Have fun! And I agree, Rick. If I was a lesbian, Salma Hayek would be on top of my list. Beautiful curvy woman... and brunette.

Ok I am awake and a bit more clear headed. I don't have to squint with eye to see the text.
A mentioned above I now have a drain tube on my hip wound. It feels like a pencil stuck in the side of my butt The doc did find a hemeatoma but I don't know where or how big. I will ask him tomorrow. I do have the dial a smile set-up again. He did not any evedince of an infection. Hopefullly just another day or two.
