The only reason for the PICC is to give me IV doses of antibiotics. Even though they can't find any direct evidence of infection we all want to be really sure.

No dial a smile. They took that away on Monday. I have open orders for morphine if I request it. So far I have not asked for it & don't want to need it. The Machine that goes ping is to expensive. I would have to buy it, then lease it to the hospital so they could rent it back to me. The tax advantage is not enough to make it worthwhile.

It is a good thing to stay away from Glen but it is also good joke fodder

Wow, Rick/Pete/Glen/Dave, close call(s). Lots of those recently on this thread, it seems.

Nooooooooooooooo not for me, I did that about ten years ago. I am still safe from the recent rash of injuries.

Be careful with that router. With the way things have been going here we might expect a post like. "look at what happened with my router"

Me too. My wife and I try to get in a little sailing when we come out to SoCal to work on our house there. We used to race our old J/22 throughout the Southeast, but got out of that when we moved to DC. Now it's the occasional leisurely day sail.

Well the PICC line in in and an x-ray confirms it went to the proper place.

I get to take my weekly shower real soon! Yea. It is looking like I get to go home tomorrow. I am curious what the last hour just cost. The PICC line and the in room chest x-ray. I know I have hit my stop loss on insurance so I know how much I will pay but it would be interesting to see the total bill. At least I get to walk without pain eventually. Mostly because my wallet is a lot thinner.

I was finishing up some welds on the inside of the frame above the rear axle and had to jam myself under the axle to get the wand to reach it's target. (remember I was drunk) and I stitched the seam together and flipped my visor up to wait for the smoke to clear so I could inspect the weld. as I lay there watching the smoke increase I realized the flannel shirt I was wearing was the source of the smoke I was seeing. I was stuck and only had the use of one arm since I had wedged myself under the axle. I put myself out with a fresh beer I had just opened before the fiasco. I didn't need to go to the horse-pistol, only had some blistering but I learned a few lessons. Flannel is not fire retardant, always leave yourself a way out, don't let my son play with a 4X4
So alcohol got you into the situation but it also got you out of it.

Alarick, Noah has a Mammoth Mountain shirt on?

I finally get it now, I think Noah930 = Alarick. Noah = Alarick's son?
