Ive been over 80 in a 10ft hydroplane. Very unnerving when it came to turning and/or slowing down.

I hit 60 in a boat and that was hauling ass across the water. I can't imagine doing 60 or 70 on a little motorcycle for the water.

I've done around 50 on a jetski a few times.... You feel every little wave... Unless we get on the water very early in the day, I don't see winding the big boy out very often....I've also been thrown off of one at almost 30. That effing hurts, and then the shock really sets in when you surface and the jet ski is upside down.

First one he bought a few weeks ago, It'll do 50...

New one today...

I'm flying home on Friday... We are going up to Canton on Saturday, I'll be sure to report back with the Carnage....

Enjoy your recliner Glen...

I remember after my dads shoulder surgery, he slept in the recliner for several months. Hope you've got a good one.

Mrs. Noah got an invite to an office party (boss' b-day). The invite specified California Chic for the dress code. Unless something's black tie or themed, isn't it a bit obnoxious to specify the dress code? I mean, it's an adult crowd at night in Beverly Hills. Wouldn't you expect people to dress reasonably nicely, already? People aren't gonna show up in a wife-beater and flip flops, ya know. Mrs. Noah remarks this reflects everything she doesn't like about life in la-la land.

Well then, that will be known in the future as a party for Mrs. Noah's ex-boss, then.

I thought california chic was somewhere between full on formal and office casual, i.e.. "business dress."

Heya guys, made it across the desert - all 1100 sand dunes. A couple of brown moments (sideways down a couple of the big dunes), but everything went well. 530km and used 140 litres of fuel - one tank reading below 'E' and the other with about 20 litres left in it. Won't know exactly how much fuel we used until we fill up again. I've still got 40 liters in jerry cans in reserve. We got up and down the dune called Big Red on our second go (if a 996 can do it.....) :-) . Haven't looked at any photos yet. Will post some up when I can.

Not too formal, not too dressed down. A lot less formal than some hoity toity dinner party in Boston.

Foot update...I can't stand with crutches or walker long enough to fix something to eat for myself before my foot starts hurting. The doc reluctantly gave me more pain killers (if my brother would pick them up for me) and told me to stay horizontal with the foot elevated.

Howdy folks. I am weaning myself off of the pain pills. I was taking two pills every 4 hours in the hospital. I am down to one every 4 to 4.5 hours. I want to get to none as soon as I can stand it. The PT shows up today. I will be sure to have a pill on board before they show up.
