Good morning fellas. Been a very good last couple of days. Forgot the whole job thing and just hung out with family and ate. Good times.
Cold? It was 46 this morning for my run. Gonna be warm today. High of 80. I ran 10 miles this morning. Very slowly. Running a half marathon next weekend in Vegas. Registered for it before the lay off. Not refundable or transferable. Thank goodness I have airline points and hotel points to "pay" for the trip. No gambling, spa, shopping, or drinking for me. Never really did any of that stuff anyway. Just go there and run. Meeting up with two grad school friends who I haven't seen in two years so that will be fun. They are virgins to the whole marathon thing so it will be exciting for them. It will be my fourth consecutive year running it. This will be the second time running the strip at night. It will be a welcomed reprieve from filling out the millionth job application...Spending the rest of the day putting up the Christmas decorations with the boys. Nice way to end the weekend.
