Good morning, fellas. You are all feisty this new year. Had a wonderful day snowboarding yesterday. Perfect. Not too crowded, perfect snow, sunny. A lot cheaper than other resorts. $51 for the whole day. People are always surprised when I tell them AZ. Thing is I have fed my snowboarding bug and now I have the urge to go again.

Azzy, I love Disney too. Fond memories. We went to Disneyland at least once a year when I was a kid if not more. Want to take my boys this year at Spring Break. My youngest loves Cars and with that new Cars Land, I have to take him.

I loathed going to Disneyworld in Orlando. Except in winter, it was always hot, muggy, chock-full of overweight tourists that were sweaty, smelly, etc. I did enjoy the overall presentation, just not the environment.

Our electricity at the house is off. The service panel is being swapped out now. We're meeting with the kitchen contractor shortly. Picking up the pickup truck tonight.

Gotta love some customers.

One of our regulars came in last week and ordered a print of their little ranch. It is 6 square miles and he ordered a 1" = 400' print. The simple math: 3 miles across at 1 inch = 400 foot is 39.6 inches so it all fit on a nice 30 x 40 print. He sent an email and ordered a print at 1"=200 as well. That is a 60 x 80 print. No big deal for us so I print that as well. Now a print that is 5 feet x 6.6 feet is a big print. He walked in and was amazed how big that is. He did not blink at the price and was happy as could be. We were happy because he will have us a check within 10 days.

Even better is he wants us to shoot their marina at Lake Texhoma. He never asked what it would cost. Just do it.

We need a lot more of those type customers.

Helps quite a bit that I got one of the $700 watches free.
I had always assumed that it was Chris from VTC that had designed that. I've seen him with one, too. Nice watch from Laco.

G'day Glen,

Yeah, all good

How's your Dad doing? Have they let him out of the respite care yet?

Dad is still fighting to get better. He had to go back to the hospital for 6 days due to some complications. Just today he went back to the skilled nursing facility. He is finally starting to get stronger.

"D" loks like handbrake will not handle the latest vid. Raw it is over gigs. Any attempt to compress and it creates either an invalid file or a vid that stops while the music keeps going.

Going to tell the parents you want it bring me a jump drive.

Good news Glen. Sounds like it won't be long before he's chasing nurses. Best wishes to him from Sharyn and I.
