With ZipBang.com email and Outlook you can just create another account in Outlook and it will populate all your email and contacts from the server. Your email is all automatically backed up every night. Just had to put that plug in there since I just posted about my mail services yesterdee.

Have had my own mail server zipbang.com since 1993 because I was tired of messing with email account changes all the time. I've tried to set up the best email possible that's why it costs $6 a month.

Looks like Sidney is getting the bulk of the blizzard. Glen and I are only supposed to get a couple of inches and that's supposed to only turn the lawn white. The bulk of ours is much needed rain.

Glen, my thoughts are with you. Hope you are ok. Big hugs.

Sidney, be safe. S**** scares me unless I am snowboarding in it. Freak out if I have to drive in it or conduct daily activities of life in it.

Glen, buy ya lunch Tuesday, just give me the where and when. As long as it doesn't involve much walking, I'm good.

That would be great, but I need to pass this week. My brother & SIL are in town. We are going to spend a few days going through dads house. Throwing junk out, and finding the treasures and getting the house ready to sell.

We are getting pounded for sure but it seems to be winding down, hearing that 75% of the people on our electric coop are out, and no estimate on when they will get us up and running. My uncle made it here in his X5 a little bit ago to get a generator, didn't get it stuck until the big ass drift in our drive. The new 4wd pulled it out with a little coercion. It's supposed to warm up a bit tomorrow, so hopefully they will clear the roads.

A cyclone (Rusty) is about to hit the WA coast. It's a Cat 1 baby and there's bugger all people up that way, so not expecting too much damage. There's another tropical low following behind him and the boffins are expecting it to become a cyclone tonight. Hopefully we'll get a wet bum from one of them, although they're a little low down the coast and there's a good chance the rain will go underneath Alice.

Settling out the "stuff" is hard for me but I always find it interesting that the smallest things that seem to have no "value" bring back a flood of memories. We seem to find ourselves smiling through the tears.
I have a chair that belonged to my mom, it is nothing special, just a chair, but she used to sit in it and knit. I smile when I see the couple of little nicks on the arms from her needles, and even though it is still very hard for me five years later, I still smile.
You just can't help but remember the little things that are special to you alone.

I'm just tired of getting up at O Dark 30 for work. I like getting up with the sun.

I don't mind getting up before the rooster (or at sparrow fart) as long as I can get to bed early. My new occupants don't seem to agree with my schedule

I don't think I could handle that.

Off to get ready for another fun-packed day at the office.

I don't know how much longer I can take the long hours and long commute. Time to either retire or move back out west...or at least get a job outside of DC so I can live within an hour or so of work.

After doing that commute for 3 years, and my wife doing it for 7 years, we had to make a move to significantly shorten the travel time. I'm so glad we did.
