Rick, I think you did the right thing. I think you are trying to do what is BEST for the kids. They are the important point of the entire mess. If you believe in your heart you are doing what is best for the kids you should be able to sleep with a clear conscience. It may not be the ideal solution but life is usually a compromise.

Alcohol will not solve any problem, it just makes other problems, but you know that already.

Best wishes, Rick. You've set aside your personal dislike of POSSIL, and you're thinking of the best interests of your grandkids. That's not easy to do. Hopefully you can be there for your daughter when she comes around. Strangely that may be easier for her to do if her kids aren't there.

I have several people lined up who will be part of the boys med. care. The microscope is already set up.
I guess I feel better, my mind is finally starting to slow down, so I think sleep will come tonight.
On the bright side Beth is already planning what we are going to do with the house once it isn't a storage facility anymore. That is a very good sign

i really wish i had some people i could talk to, in person, regarding life stuff. i often feel isolated and my closest friends (i never had very many) are either incommunicado or in prison (for good reason, actually, and they burned the bridge of friendship long ago). i don't talk to family. its a problem.
