Redid the servo tray to recess them down. Got the throttle servo and horn and pushrod hooked up and properly aligned....
I have to redo the rudder hinges though........they're all wibbly wobbly.........sorry, couldnt resist!
The servo horn for it should work nicely and the range of motion looks dead on what I was shooting for

Here Joe:

You might have an issue with the gas tank located so low. I had played with modifications years ago and found that the air from the muffler was not sufficient to pressurize the tank with it so low and the added tubing.

I had rebuilt the thing in college and on first run on the big field at school, some bump in the ground I think caused some flex in the engine mounts and the prop hit the throttle cable and rudder cable. Throttle cable wound itself around the engine and the plastic rudder tube/cable was sliced and diced.

What size engine is that? I was concerned about the fuel tank being so low, but it actually works fine. I ran the engine a good bit to test and it was fine.

OS Max 25.

I think the fuel problem occurred when in motion.

Hmmm, I'll have to keep it in small ponds until I see if that's an issue...

Quick google search says it shouldnt be a problem, the modern 46 and standard muffler make more than enough pressure to push the fuel the few inches up

Honestly, I think that's the first ive googled for this build....definitely a valid point, but apparently not an issue anymore, there are large airplane builds that put the tanks the same amount lower and a foot away with no problems... problems only really seem to occur with high G maneuvers

20 years ago was 1993. No google but there was Mosaic. I used to poke around with it a little. Netscape was the big improvement. It is just astonishing how much the world of the Internet and the entire world has changed in those 20 years.

I used the Internet for important things back then! Like how to solve Leisure Suit Larry late nights instead of studying! But find info on RC boats? No way back then! I mean sheesh, you had to visit newsgroups to get your porn!
