One would think so but I always wake her in the morning with a fresh hot cup of coffee, so I doubt she would want to lose that.

The folks close to Jeff ordered it. NSW needs some good rain so they don't all burn up into a cinder. God decided Rick gets all the rain Australia is praying for.

Good Hump day folks.

Since I am getting the tires mounted on the wife's car we had to swap vehicles today. It always amazes me how different a 80s car instruments are compared to something from this century. That Infinity dash looks like a brightly lit space ship game console compared to the dim yellow lights of the 911 or the Elky.

when I drive Elicia's infinity, I have the same problem and dim everything down. It's blindingly bright. She is also 5'3" to my 5'11", so all the seats and mirrors are moved. When she gets back in, she looks like a little kid that can't reach the pedals...haha. She also asks me how can I see the dash when it's that dim. I tell her because my retina's aren't already burned out like hers from the bright lights.

So I finally broke down and cleaned my apartment bathroom, which I have been neglecting for a month, and Elicia gave me the "finally" statement about accompanied by an eye role. I'm a guy, but is it bad that my shower took 4 hours to clean. To my defense, I had the shower head off to soak, fixed the loose shower head pipe, removed the clear knob for cleaning behind, and stripped/replaced old caulk, along with the cleaning.

My wife's Infinity has smart seats and mirrors. It knows her key from my key. I can get in and the seat starts moving, the mirrors move and the steering wheel and instrument cluster move together as a unit. It is kinda freaky. The good news is once she gets in everything resets to fit her.

My Elky has electric nothing. The bench seat is mechanical foreword or back that is all, the driver side rear view mirror has a joystick mechanical connection to adjust it. The steering wheel is a tilt wheel but it just goes up and down. The windows have this clever handle that you move in a circular motion and the window on that side will go up or down. They are up 99.9% of the time.

The sales guy told her that her car was going to come with smart seats, but when it showed up it didn't. This was before we got together because I would have fought to have everything the rep said it would have, but at that time she was too quiet and timid. I am molding her into a monster. 3 years of being with me and she voices her opinion more, voices her wants to sales rep and points out their mistakes when they lie.

The 94 GTS seat and outside mirrors gots memory, buts you gots to push a button an hold it til everything quits movin.

The only thing my 2001 Boxster S did was it had a memory for the passenger side mirror for when you put it in reverse. It was more aggravating than helpful.

I set my side view mirrors so they actually are side view mirrors. Back when they had Driver's Ed in HS, they taught us to set are mirrors so we see down the side of the car. That basically gives you 3 rear view mirrors. I set mine out farther so as a car leaves my rear view mirror it appears in my side mirror. Then as it leaves my side mirror I can see the car beside me. No blind spots.

If you haven't tried it, set your drivers side mirror like you normally would so you just see down the side of your car, ONLY lean your head over to the left against the window first. To set the passenger mirror you set it so you just see the side of your car while leaned over to the right so you are looking from the middle of the car. Then as cars leave your peripheral vision they appear in the side view mirror, and as they leave the side mirror, the appear in the rear view mirror. Usually there is about a fender length of overlap.

One the wife's car the right side rear view mirrow points down when you put the car in reverse to show the ground. I guess if you are looking for a curb that is good.

My RDX does that but you can lock it out. It is for use in parking.
