Sid, we got a whopping 1/4 of inch of rain. Better than nothing but not much.
Jeff, it looks like you have green rain there. I know everything is backwards down there but I did not know rain was green in color. Good Monday morning everyone.

Started out misty here. My sister and hr family were home for the weekend. Always a good time but I think there should be an O2 bottle near by because we get laughing so hard we cant breathe.

The last time they were here I made a comment and my sister was literally on the floor laughing where she had once been standing. It was one of those had to be there things.

It is neat to see someone that actually likes their sister. I hear lots of stories of dysfunctional families.
My brother lives 800 miles away and it makes it a challenge to get together. Cherish those family meetings. Especially the good times. Enjoy!

We all get along pretty good. Though we are not allowed to be partners in games like Pictionary or Cranium since we seem to be able to read each other pretty well. We got banned because I was drawing and had gotten as far as what looked like part of an ear when she blurted out SERBIA. Once when we were sitting on the couch we both started humming the same song at the same place at the same time. Weird.
We are 4.5 years apart. She has lived in Washington NC and out in El Centro and those times were tough. She found a place that I interviewed for in El Centro and then stayed with her a few months until I found a place. Mom was unhappy then. Now we are all back in the midwest close to mom. She is about three hours away. We have always gotten along well. i don't remember ever arguing or getting really mad at her in my 40+ years. Of course she is a saint so that helps.

yep, the cash cab guy. In Netflix the routine he talks about his new house with a guest bathroom that he can't use because it's for guests. That's where I lost it.

I went through that with my wife. She would put out fancy hand towels in the guest bathroom and tell me not to use them. I asked if she went to someones house and the foo foo hand towels were out on the counter would she use them. Of course not, she would prefer to swing by their kitchen and grab a paper towel, then hit the bathroom and dry her hands on the paper towel. That way the home owners figure you just did not wash your hands.
I figure if they put them out, I am going to dry my hands on them. At a recent house we went to they had fancy embossed paper towel-napkins things next to the sink and that was the only thing to dry my hands with. Screw it, I used them.

He talks about opening the wall behind the mirror in the guest bathroom and waiting for them to open the medicine cabinet, they always do. They open it and his face is there and he yells, "What are you doing in my cabinet?" and they just ****...literally.

Watched the posted video and he made me laugh. Never heard of him 'til today.
Every once in a while a comedian will come along and bring tears to my eyes and make it hard for me to even talk right. Richard Pryor and Bill Burr are a couple that come to mind. This guy is good. The google rant hit home. |

Hear that? That's the sound of money flushing.......just dropped nearly a grand on a scope that barely has magnification...
Went by the local PSA store a few days ago and checked out the 1.5x acogs....fell in love.....found one new on ebay for $200 cheaper, not including tax, and it came with the mount. |

Many years ago we went to a local comedy club and Ron White was the final show. He had a good warm up comedian and Ron White had us in pain from laughing. My sides literally hurt the next day. None of us had ever heard of Ron White before that but is is still very funny.
