Must have just been a sprinkle. No rain at all here in the LA Basin. I heard it was raining in San Luis Obispo but the weather radar didn't show much of anything in CA except around Sacramento.

Let's see, Older brother, Tom went to Viet Nam first, was an F4 jet jockey and only visited Tokyo few times on leave, the rest of the tour he was on major bases around the orient or carriers. So you might say he only got a birds eye view of the orient. Came back without any problems.

Other brother, George was on a Chinook crew and was in the thick of it often flying in and out of the small villages. He even got shot down several times. Had his first MS attack within a year of returning.

Much later Tom went on "mission/business" trip to orient, Singapore, China, Bangkok, etc. stayed in the small villages with locals. A much more up close and person experience than his tour. Within a year of returning from that trip had his first MS attack.

The medical community claims MS is not hereditary. Yet, the thing my brothers have in common is their Mother, the shots required before going to Viet Nam and visiting the orient within a year of their first MS attack.

When trying to help George get proper medical care from VA found that 80% of disabled Viet Nam veterans were diagnosed with MS, AND even though that was true the VA had no doctors experienced in treating MS nor did they stock or dispense any of the drugs that helped MS patients. There was even an unofficial rumor that the combination of the shots and something they were exposed to caused the MS. It wasn't until the last year George's life the Military and VA admitted his MS might have been service related and started providing "better" care. Even then getting the drugs that help was spotty.

Tom does not have to rely on the VA for his medical care, and is fairing better. His decline is similar but taking much longer with a higher quality of life.

Sorry, but from what I've seen and heard it just ain't worth the risk for me to experience the orient first hand.

Sorry about the health issues with your brothers. MS can be a terrible disease to have. But I think your shared ancestry is a **far** bigger risk factor than the travel, itself, to the far side of the Pacific. The chemical exposure issue, I don't know about.

Okay...My dad had crones disease. Nothing seemed to help, they operated to remove it and the crones came back. Dad heard about and started drinking an Aloe Vera concentrate mixed into a drink kinda like lemonade. His crones disease went into complete remission. After an exploratory surgery his doctor proudly stated the treatment he had prescribed worked because there was no sign of the crones. I asked if ANY of his other patients on the same treatment had gone into remission like my Dad. He said no. I then said, "and you don't want to know what he is doing or had done different than your other patients?" The doctor, specializing in crones was NOT interested.

Similarly, when they sent post breast cancer surveys for my Mom. The ONLY thing they were interested in was that since she was taking a specific post breast cancer drug if the cancer had come back and/or if she had passed from the cancer returning. They were NOT interested in her current health, and especially not the strokes and post stroke dementia caused by the cancer preventative medication. Stoke being listed as the #1 side effect of the drug I thought that odd. Then Mom's doctor has the balls to show me a report where they proudly state that their studies show 80% of the women taking the post cancer drug do not die from cancer.

So you will have to excuse me when I call BS on the accepted medical diagnosis/treatments when I observe something different happening. AND I am ABSOLUTELY NOT going to get vaccinated and go visit the orient to see if I get MS. Maybe someone could convince my other brother to go and see if he gets MS. That might not be a good test though since he claims to have been abducted by aliens. They may have changed his DNA or something.

No doubt some member of Congress has an earmark to distribute worms and it only cost the taxpayers $8,000 per worm and they are sourced from that members brother-in-law.

Wait, why are large worms cheaper than a medium worm?

I have never bought a worm and I don't want to get ripped off if I ever need to buy worms.

I've only bought a small tub of worms at a Walmart one time to go fishing with. Those are a whole nuther kind of worm though.
