dipso, it is a great comfort to know your wife is willing to turn on the curse-like-a-sailor-beotch on your behalf.

"That's no lady, that's my wife." L O L

Too funny.

On the other thing with the gas attendant who wouldn't budge, it would've been easy enough to fold the bills a coupla times and leave them on top of the pump.

You're a real piece of work, dude.

Can we get back to ranting about Porsche Prycks that we don't know, instead of ones that we do know? It's always more comfortable that way.

How did he know the guy wasn't disabled?

He didn't. He just ASSumed it was a lazy fat guy. And frankly even if he WERE a lazy fat guy, he's a lazy fat guy who's owed money for a product. Don't like it? Go down the street to the station that doesn't employ lazy fat guys - that capitalism is an amazing thing. Competition and choice and all.

Just because someone might not like someone else's appearance doesn't give them the right to steal from them.

Sooner or later dipstick is going to torque off the wrong person and get the ass kicking it sounds like he rightly deserves. Maybe it's already happened - not like he'd admit it, much less admit he deserved it - he'd just make a bunch of excuses and rationalize how he was the victim. Just like a liberal. Maybe cry about it a little too.

I stopped for fuel in my work mobile back when I was in a perpetual bad mood to see a young female standing outside her car smoking a cig. The nozzle was in the car, BTW.

I got out, looked her in the eye and asked if she knew how to read. "Yeah", she said.

I then suggested she look the F up and read the sign that says "NO SMOKING".

She huffed away and threw the cig on the ground. The guy next to me peeks over and says "thanks for saying something to that girl".

I think I retorted to him"Yeah, people are stupid".

You are supposed to turn your vehicle off while refuleing as well.

Big sign lists all of the rules right there onthe island.

Duh.

he unleashed this unholy venom on me...it ended with, "......i dont have to say please, you mother effer!" i calmly replied, "you're right, you dont have to say please. but you will have to wait". i checked my fluids, put the gas pump on the first notch, aired up my tires...he was fuming and i thought he was going to kill me...he was a huge, elderly african american man, in very good shape for his age. very intimidating, but i took a chance that he wouldnt pulverize me in public. when i did pull off, he pulled next to me calling me a dirty effen gook. i felt satisfied ruining his mood.
I had some jerk pull up very close to my front bumper at a gas station. It was like he would only use the pump I was using. There were other spots available but he wanted to use "his" pump. I was going to have to back up thru the parking lot and that was a corner lot with two entrances from the street. It was not impossible but not what I wanted to do. I decided my windshield needed to be cleaned and I could not even walk in front of my El Camino because the guy was so close. I had to walk behind my vehicle to wash the other side of the windshield. Then I decided I needed to check the oil. Then I checked the air in the tires. He finally gave up and peeled out and left without getting gas. I drove foreword and left.

I learned more about life working as a pump jockey in the CA desert than I did in kindergarden. Most of the memories have faded but can recalled being hosed down by a (retired) MD holding the self-serve nozzel.

All you did was lower yourself to the attendant's level. Not classy.
p.s. a cigarette will go out in a cup of gas but it can ignite the fumes of gas being put into a tank. Its the fumes that are dangerous.

The no-self-serve rule in OR is silly but now that I'm used to it, I kind of like having someone else pump the gas.

Jesus christ. it is like a game of telephone with you guys.
I never said he was fat. All I said was he was lazy.

All of a sudden this guy is fat and disabled.
You have great reading comprehension.

I think all people should mind their own business while in public. I don't go around telling perfect strangers how to behave and I don't think strangers should be telling me either.
I would think the busybody reference makes that clear.

I clearly stated that i was standing back a few feet smoking a cigarette.
All of a sudden I am endangering lives.
You guys are a riot.

Is there anything you guys are not afraid of?
A lit cigarette a few feet away from a gas nozzle, OMG!
Call the fire department.

Well, if you are still smoking after all that we know about it, you pretty much don't give a crap about yourself so why would you care about anyone else?

Smoking around a gas tank, pump, nozzle is a completely dumba$$ act and it's very possible that some kind stranger may "help" you understand that.

By the way, dipso, it IS the other people's business when you smoke at a gas station. If you put their lives in potential danger, it's very much their business.

Listen none of us care if you blow yourself up taking a drag at the pump. If you blow me and my family up whilst taking a drag then its a big problem. Ya Jeff is a little stiff at times but you seem rather selfish.
