I've tasted both, and I feel damn sorry that you folks grew up with your mum spreading something that tastes like a homeless persons socks on your toast.

BTW, my parents were not the ones who addicted me to this stuff. It was at the British NAFI (military PX) in Berlin Germany when I was based there in the 80's. Was walking through the place to get some Lemon Curd (another wonderful Brit treat) and noticed the Twiglets on the shelf. Decided to try some and was addicted from the first bite.
