Glad that I was one of those who wrote into Gatoraid in light of what happened.

I like and drink Gatoraid fairly often. Problem is that I vote with my pocketbook.

Glad they did it as I did not want to switch!

I don't understand why so many are so happy that Tiger is losing sponsors and on a down hill slide

Does any thing he did affect any of you?? Not like Kennedy screwing a spy & Clinton getting blown then lying about it...

Byron,

I am not by any means happy that this happened. That said, had it happened to someone who felt better towards his country (putting your hand over your heart during the pledge is a good start) would have a lot more of my support. Frankly he lost my support years ago when I saw that he showed no respect towards our flag, the pledge of allegence or our country.

Then there is the issue of "keeping his dick in his pants" that I would have with anyone. When I am in a relationship or married I do not screw around. If someone wants to do so, then separate or get divorced and you have a free playing field. Not with a wife waiting at home while taking care of your baby.

Well said, Joe.

Like I said before, I don't follow golf and nothing Tiger does or has done will affect me in the least.

Being a somewhat caring individual has me wondering about how messed up he must be over his world falling apart right before his eyes. It must be driving him mad.

I hope, for the sake of his kids, that things turn out ok at the end of this train wreck.

What would his Dad say?

Good point. Nope and I can't wait for it to all go away. I like watching him golf....he's good.

BTW, how did the Kennedy and Clinton things affect you????

To some degree Tiger's travails are biologically predetermined.

The alpha males of most species are intensely motivated to breed. Repeatedly. And with as many partners as possible. In this way, the alpha generously distributes his DNA to the human race, making it stronger and more vital.

Tiger is a classic alpha male. Don't hate Tiger. Hate his 220 yard 5-iron.

He doesn't really hit a five iron 220 yds, all the pros change the loft on their clubs to some extent. I'm not sure why they do it but it's legal and most likely it's to throw off the competition and a macho thing as well. I'm guessing it's closer to the loft of a four iron, which is still a good poke. He still hits the **** out of the ball.

They deloft clubs because otherwise they would hit the ball waayyyy too high and lose some of the control of the shot. They get better trajectory on their drives with 8 degree drivers than your average 5 handicap can get with a 9 or 10 degree (not to the mention the extra-stiff shafts).

Extra stiff shaft, that is also what caused Tiger Woods demise.

Not sure I'll ever really understand that but it seems as though I've heard that somewhere else. So how much does the loft actually change. Does delofting change a full club value. I've also heard they can work a 8 degree driver left or right much better than a more lofted driver.

All clubs have a range for them to be lofted to equate to a certain club. Some guys might deloft it enough to make a 5-iron a 4-iron, while others might just tone it down a little bit so that it's sort of a 4.5-iron. I'm sure there are more reasons for it, I only know/understand the very basics of the stuff I picked up through 5 years of caddying.

Yes and no.

I am an Alpha Male, so are you. Do you screw around? I sure do not and hope you do not either. Years ago I realized that if I felt that it was ok for me to screw around, that I might come home and find my wife/girlfriend in bed with someone else and thats not what I wanted.

I am still an Alpha Male, but I am a responsible one. I can think with both heads at one time, even when one is well on its way towards getting a "extra stiff shaft" so to speak.

No need to be an Alpha male with 10 kids when there's a Costco down the street.

+1, and the opposite of that is a woman having a ton of children, (insert any number over 2-3). Some women have more of a maternal instinct? It's irresponsible in today's world to have a bazillion kids yet they are out there.

Perhaps you misunderstand. I did not intend to imply that Tiger's promiscuity was understandable. I think it's his obligation.

And don't kid yourself. Women are no different. Two margaritas and all our wives would drop their panties for Johnny Depp and ride Howie Long like a dime store horse.

the era of contraception has contravened the spreading of DNA. i doubt that any of the ten or so mistresses will end up having a love child by tiger.

Doesn't matter. The BEHAVIOR is biologically driven. Does your dog think he'll get you pregnant while he's humping your leg?
