My Son used this program to prep for his geography test. He nailed the midwest, south and Northeast. The states in the Northwest alsways seemd to hang him up. After about an hour messing with it he was getting 100% accuracy. He aced his geo test with a 100%. Computor time well spent.

useful and educational
BUT scores will depend on the order in which states are presented, not on knowledge alone e.g. if it feeds you some rectangular western interior states early on, even a small offset will be counted as an error; but if you got coastal or lake edged states early your score would be higher here is an offset error I generated by placing MS just a bit away from AL to see how close you had to be:

Don't understand the 606 sec.
- took less than 5 min., nowhere near 10. A no brainer except for placing the 4 states with no water or adjacent states to line up with. Kinda fun tho. ![]() ![]() Edit: just saw Randy's post. Mine must've been easy with only 4 states to guess the exact location of (I nailed Idaho though ).

I won't hold it against you, but I've put your name on the "no entry" list.

Started with KY and slightly misplaced it. All good from then on. Can still remember all 50 state capitals - fourth grade studies! (I'm 52 now)

78% 62 miles. I was very close on a few big square states in the middle of the US, but off some.

Sadly this is a better judge of how lucky you get in the order it asks you than how well you know geography.
![]() My first 3 were coastal, Kansas was the 4th, the rest I got them close enough. |
