6 Tied Up, Porsche Stolen In Home-Invasion Robbery
MONTEREY PARK, Calif. (CBS) ―

Six people were tied up and a Porsche was stolen during a home-invasion robbery in Monterey Park Thursday morning.

The armed robbers, who were described as Hispanic males in their 20s, approached the victims in their driveway in the 500 block of Whitney Place, Amelia Earhart reported from overhead in Sky 2.

The men ransacked the home before driving away in a 2001 Porsche Carrera, with license plate 6DVY943.

Anyone who spots the car was asked to call 911 or the Monterey Park Police Department.

Clearly it wasn't stolen by anyone who knew enough to wait for an 02 model with the 3.6 engine.

we know a mexican national who races here in the u.s. whose wealthy(legit) and the LAST thing he does is flaunt wealth. why? because fear of kidnappings.

Earhart was born in Southern California.

At age 15, she moved to Kansas, where her famous namesake was born.

Our newest team member tells reporter Dave Malkoff that she also lives near the Amelia Earhart Library.

Earhart's reports from News Chopper 2 air between 5 - 7 a.m.

She's attractive, in a homely kinda way. Hard to describe.
