Just got home from the imax/3D and it was amazing. The story was definitely dances with wolves but the futuristic twist made the plot very interesting. The special effects were insane. Definitely a revolutionary movie!

....and I'd still bang S. Weaver

Saw it tonight, THOUGHT i was going to the Imax theater, but it was just a regular theater handing out 3d glasses. Bummer, still mighty cool though.

But yeah, the plot was old, rehashed, and preachy.

Let's hear it for men who are uncomfortable with story lines involving emotional intimacy!

Hip, hip!

No, it' was only about 1.5 hours of crap.

Wait, the last thing I saw, the boat was still floating too.

Yeah, I (and the wifey) got really bored after 1.5~2 hours and stopped watching it.

I'm curious about this one. I don't mind a message if it's subtle and I don't feel like it's being crammed down my throat.

It's definitely worth seeing for the effects if you watch it in 3D, especially at an IMAX theater. The movie was pretty good too.

Yep, saw a 20-minute long trailer for it the last time I went to the movies and decided that I didn't need to see the movie as it was clearly a white guilt crapfest...and then I saw Sigourney Weaver was in it and really didn't want to see it.

You should probably go see the movie anyway for the eye candy. It really was extremely well done.

You guys are too funny.....or too cynical.

Saw it in 3D tonight.
Unbelivably great visual effects.
Great imagination.
For pure entertainment....this film is hard to beat.

Ignore Sigourney and the messages in the movie if you must, but see it.
It's a dazzling lightshow to say the least.
