Yep, I useally have to go to a clients event, a good friend is having a party at his place at the beach, but I hate to go that far out, still not drinking, so that isn't an issue, but the others out there
I'll just have to wait & see what I end up doing & who...

Playing a party up in the Hollywood Hills. Our old singer is in town from NY - should be fun. I gotta work on charts for some new tunes...

My wife and I are going to be with friends in a cabin on Lake Winnipesaukee... I foresee cards, wood burning stove, and revelry.

I'm torn... I have lady friends in south St. Louis wanting me to accompany them to a night of boozing.... which seems promising. I haven't seen them in about a year. One is my ex-wife. The other is a crush. Has potential considering she called me to invite.

I also have a neighbor/good friend who's birthday is the 1st, an he's having a big party new years eve. There will probably be women folk at this party as well, but this isn't a given. However this party is 100 feet away, and the other is 100 miles.

Oh boy do I know THAT drill! We used to play a double. Usually a club date on NY eve and then we would play the tailgate party for the Outback Bowl in TPA.( 6:00 am load in) on NY day! We made a ton of money but we were zombies that day. We would be done at 10 am when the game started so I would just go home and sleep all day. Some time we would just go from the club to the stadium and sleep in the trucks. I think I'm too old to do that anymore. It takes days to recover from that.

Dinner at my house with a group of friends, then off to the bars in Naperville to see what kind of trouble we can get ourselves into.

+100

We will be asleep by 10:30.

The last time I was awake for New Years was 2000. We stayed up to watch the end of the world. As I expected absolutely nothing happened so we went to bed. News Years is just another day.

Now it looks like we're going over to some friends' house for martinis and black-eyed peas (for New Year's luck).

These same friends own a fire truck that everyone is supposed to climb into for a ride around the neighborhood, blasting the air horn and such.

I know it's juvenile, but hey, these are my people.
