Slightly off topic but is that a TV hanging above the fireplace??
If yes: That is wayyyy too high... how's the neck?? (or do you sit on a ladder???) ![]() ![]() I kinda dig the painting, I also dig Jackson Pollock's work.

Many here recognize that you're ill sniper. And many with compassion are no doubt concerned for you. Have you considered seeking the help of a psychiatrist to deal with those learning blocks that are limiting you?
Ill though you may be, give it some extra effort and try to understand that the poster asked for "thoughts". Your response, "that fkng term avant garde again", is not a thought. It's just another one of your ignorant fkng grunts.

Per Wikipedia, “avant-garde” means:
"advance guard" or "vanguard” The adjective form is used in English, to refer to people or works that are experimental or innovative, particularly with respect to art, culture, and politics. Avant-garde represents a pushing of the boundaries of what is accepted as the norm or the status quo, primarily in the cultural realm. From this and the prior quote I would conclude that if you are pushing the boundaries of what was done before, it is “art” and "creative", if you are replicating prior work it is “craft”. So we may not understand what someone else is trying to do, but that doesn't diminish it as art. I don't understand or particularly like the monster clothespin or the giant"LOVE" in Philly (seems pretty insipid to me) but I am not going to discount them, either.

I know what avant garde means. It's not the term that annoys me so much as it is the elite jet-setting twits that use the term.
The Love and Clothespins were massive wastes of taxpayer dollars in a city that has more problems than you can shake a 40 foot clothespin at. Here's some real art: ![]() Rodina Mat, largest statue ever created by man (the sword alone is as tall as the Statue of Liberty) Last edited by m21sniper; 02-03-2010 at 08:20 AM.. |

Ewww! Suspicions confirmed! You ARE a closet Commie!
And bigger is better, eh? Speaking of suspicions, closets and "bigness", you really ought to second-think your desire (re, your post #47 on the Non friendly Porsche owner thread a couple days ago) to post pictures of your dick on Off Topic to try to win a "prize fer size" - might be a few gays here that would rise to the occasion, but - you could turn out to be as big a loser there as you are on this topic.
