Wireless Headsets For Land Line - HELP!
I need to buy a wireless headset for my office phone because I keep nocking stuff over due to a nasty habit of pacing when I talk on the phone. I've started looking at them and they are pricey so I want to make sure I buy the right one the first time.
What wireless headset do you have and like using? Do you know of a cheap place to get them? I have seen wireless headsets range from $180-$500 and I would like to keep the price cheap but not if that means that I'll use a $200 headset for three months and then go buy a good one for $400. Here is a link that I started looking at: Plantronics Wireless Headsets Designed for Office and Contact Centers I like the style of earpiece that the Voyager 510S and 510SL have (examples in that link). Thanks for any help, Shawn |

I have used a wired Plantronics unit for about 20 yrs and love it. Keep in mind that although you will be wireless, you will still want to be able to adjust volume during a conversation, mute (to cough or talk to someone in the room), answer a call, & hang up. If you wear it all day then my advice is to buy the best one out there. I prefer the kind that puts a plug in one ear and hangs on the ear as opposed to the headphone style units but everyone has different likes/dislikes.

Thanks for the response. I guess I'll give one of these a shot and see how it goes. -Shawn |
