I was involved in some of the litigation over the America's Cup in the 1980s. I recall taking Dennis Connor's deposition. For the life of me I can't recall what the issue or dispute was. I remember he had puffy lips. Jeez, either I'm getting prematurely senile or I'm blocking out the memory for some reason.

BMWO wins 2-0 in a walk. Alingi pulls their protest so this debacle of a DOG series is over now. I expect Mascalzone Latino to file a challenge quickly and we can get back to the real racing. Looking forward to a bunch of big modern mono's to get after it.

There was an article in the local Sunday paper. Lawsuits over the design. They eventually reverted to the original rules from 1887 or something like that to end it.
