There's not much immediately along the route. Most sites are more to the West (Flanders/Pas de Calais) or more to the East (Verdun, Reims).
A nice stopover would be the Henri Chapelle WW2 cemetary, if you type it as stopover in a routeplanner you'll see how it would nicely fit. I posted some pictures a few posts up. It's just off the highway.

An excellent site for WW1 travelling is http://www.ww1battlefields.co.uk/index.html
Navigation via the left side listed sites once you clicked Somme, Flanders etc..
