I have a suggestion...why don't you buy your daughter a few classes in Self Defence..like Krav Mag-aw...and maybe a pistol..and teach her how to use it...your in a business where you have access to those specialities..
No matter where you live in LB or even in the greater urban area you are still close to the jungle...and there are some real predators out there who go by the motivation of Greed, Fear and More Greed..if you get my drift...the old axiom of. "You should have armed yourself...." applies here...

What is to think about? Self Defense Classes offer a social outlet combined with a physical activity that has a practical application..instead of a dance class for instance..
Find a school that you like that is fairly close by ...PAY FOR THE LESSONS..and say fit it into your schedule..here is the phone number...it is called better safe than sorry..as in anything you have to weigh the risk.

Beautiful. Lucky guy. You have a very special young lady there. Best of luck and God bless.
When our daughter wrote a poem about her parents (my wife and I) and how she sees how much we love each other.and how much she respects and loves us ....well it just choked me up.

Awesome Hugh. I thank parents all the time for raising great kids because the best kids come into my line of work. If I ever meet you in person I'll shake your hand and buy you a beer or two.
When my son was 20 he told me he listened to everything I ever told him and now he's gonna' put it into practice since he figured out I wasn't a dumb-arse. Kids are our life's work. |

A former co-worked used to say that you raised your kids until they turned 13, from that point forward you figure out how badly you screwed up. You done good Hugh.

Nice work, Hugh. Thanks for sharing.
(and to all you kids out there who turned out pretty well, no matter what your age, your parents would appreciate a letter like this.)
