Garage
Impressive! And I was proud of tiling a 3'x6' powder room by myself last year.

How often do you float and how often do you use Hardi backer bd? I (well, my tile setter ) have always floated 95% of our jobs when ever possible. We don't float counter tops and back splash because it doesn't hold any weight, but everything else.

I very rarely float floors.
The floor has to be really bad. 2 inches out of level in 8 feet, for example.

I do float 100% of my shower enclosures, however.

This job is done.

It looks really good.
The tiles have good character and I think they will be a lifelong topic of conversation.
The fossils throughout are spectacular!

Here's a couple more shots:

Now that I am done, baseboards can be installed, a few doors need to be trimmed, a threshold installed, carpet trimmed, stretched and tucked and furniture placed back into their proper places.

Thanks for watching!

who's sealer do you like to use? I am old school, and I buy the oil base stuff in a little tiny plastic bottle like Stonetech's Bulletproof as well as Aquamix, but I think they are junk now.

There are so many new products on the market now. I don't know what's good or better then the traditional stuff, or not?
