Orlando is a GREAT place to live! Orange avenue is much like Deep Ellum in Dallas or Vieu Carre in NOLA. A great place to party, and plenty of music. My brother left Full Sail and was immediately hired at Nothing Music in New Orleans. Nothing Music is owned by Trent Reznor. Question for you: Where does the term "Nothing" music come from? Hint: A New Orleans-based author who is female but considers himself male~

I went to an auto tech school, and it's how you described it. You get a lot of technical knowledge that is not necessarily what you need in the field. I always felt like i learned more in my first 30 days at my first mechanic job than i did the whole time i was in school.

what field is she looking to get into? For example, I'm a backline guy, i take care of gutiars&amps. Lanes a lighting designer, i know we've got some audio people here. My baby sister's a prodution asst. We might be able to point out some other alternatives if we know what she wants to "be".

Tell her to go talk to people in the industry that do what she wants to do - ask them about the college - or better just ask them WHAT college/school to go to. IF they don't mention Full Sail then she can bring it up.

In a few years she can apply to those guys for a job - and remind them who she was. They'll be impressed about her forethought.
