pwd72s - I used to body surf the Wedge in the early '70s. I'm alive today to tell you I didn't do it too often. Don't know about the girls in '65, I was only 7. Nowadays you have to be careful looking at the girls. The cops, the girls' wannabe-gangbanger boyfriends, and/or Gloria Allred will want to get in your face.

But don't be depressed. At age 58, it's probably quite a thrill just to wake up;)

Paul, 58 is just a kid to someone 2 or 3 yrs. older. I've been able to enjoy my parents' lives from 28, (when they had me), to 70 this year! And still going very strong, knock on wood! As for the cuties down here, yes they just keep stamping them out! Thank God some things never go out of style.

Leland...why the serious expression? Sheesh..people might get the idea you're in a serious place in the world... pbs911, rscupper? I only body surfed the wedge once...1960's. A buddy & I went down to your area to SCUBA dive around Catalina. Spent a day on the beach at Newport...so had to try it. Swear it took me a week to get the sand out of my jock strap & other areas. BTW, your bride have a younger sister? For Leland, of course! When he gets the sand off his boots, he'll need somebody to help him get rid of that serious expression! The sand of Newport Beach might be a great cure for that! Gawd, the gorgeous beach bunnies there...
and to think, they were all mass produced by volunteer unskilled labor! Parts of California are amazing! You think the girls there would dig Leland's desert cammie BDU's?
