Cool

Well, I hit the double nickel this month. The Porsche is almost 36 and I'm still driving it every day. You know, it's not allot of power and everytime I think about owning another newer, like a Boxter, 993 or 996 I eventually say to myself "why". A toast to all of you out there in Pelican land.

In 1969, when I was 28, I used to chase down Porsches in my 1967 XKE. Not fair, a 4.2 liter hotrod weighing 2900#'s. Used to eat up 396 SS Chevelles too.
Today I play with my 30 year old 911 on real race tracks, still chasing down other Porsches. Still do all my own race car work too.
All you mid 30's guys keep working and paying my Social Security. I need a new set of Hoosiers.
Seriously, I enjoy this site and everyone on it. Maybe it's something I can do in the rest home.

In '69, I was 21. No, isn't that a song? But really I was.

I'm 50 in man-years. But I hold the same opinion as Groucho Marx who said; "A man is only as old as the woman he feels". I am therefore, a few years younger.
