Well when that is all you have to feel in that town you begin to think they are real. Or to put it another way if you have never seen a real one how would you know what is real and what is fake?

You have to remember Hollywood isn't the real world,it is the world of illusion.

He sure has a funny way of asking for a little kindness. And how can so many blame her for his tirades? Because she knows how to press the right buttons? Who has buttons like that?

Regarding his career... I'm sure it will come back, and sooner than you think. You can drug and rape a child and society will still accept you, as long as you're famous. Or marry your own daughter. Or pickup a transvestite hooker. Or run a dog fighting ring. Or punch out a stripper. Or kill somebody. (Wow, this list gets long fast!)

Mel Gibson was born in Australia but his father was an American.

So you guys are to blame.

His ex wife who he had 8 kids with is from Adelaide, South Australia.
Mel is a local legend here. He and his wife used to own a house in Adelaide and was often seen in the local delicatessen buying a Mars bar and Coke.
I never saw him but my sister in law bumped into him once at the local "Foodland" shopping center.

would be my interpretation of the situation as well. particularly if there is already a history of abuse. she's working for a paycheck. lame on both parts.

My Daddy always said, "Judge not lest ye be judged."

One shouldn't run from the dark side...as I found out U can't run fast enough, it will always catch up to you. So one should try and embrace the dark side, descend into the blackness of the abyss and U just might find that you are a human being with the capacity to love and show kindness.

You can't count on what she did or does, the only thing you can count on is what you do and what you bring to the table.
Kind of a big leap there, dad. The dark side drives a lot - the key is knowing when to have the light apply the brakes or steer. Yin/yang.

It really doesn't matter what she did - he put himself in the situation. Maybe she is satan-revisited. But he made choices. And he is responsible for them. A person that is not highly messed up would not say the things he said - because they would have made choices that would have obviated the situation.

There are very few instances in life that call for insanity. War is one. Imminent physical threat is another. Beyond that, choices put you in situations, and choices can generally avoid them.

Nope.

Mel was born in upstate New York. They moved to OZ when he was in his teens. Already had an American accent.

Also...

My sister was a television producer for many years, interviewed quite a few celebrities.

She's said for years that Mel Gibson was the nicest, most polite, helpful person she EVER interviewed in her entire career. Can't believe what's going on.

Biggest scumbag? Rodney Dangerfield. They could only air about 15 seconds of a 20 minute interview. Terrible.

I think Mel's into the sauce big time and it's killing him.

Sounds like a Zen kinda thing. As U merge the shadow into being part of your personality you find the rational for the shadows existence and that is the point of trancendence..or going beyond and into the light. There is no other way, and U can not petition the Lord with prayer or meditation to achieve it.

You can't count on what she did or does, the only thing you can count on is what you do and what you bring to the table. I guess I am more influential than I thought.

Taken from my perspective acting "insanely" in war might be considered to be RATIONAL behavior as the circumstances dictate. So to call it "insanity" is welll U know..

I prefer to be out of the orb. You can't have shadows without light. And vice versa. And "insanity" and "rational" are both relative terms. Simply depends on your point of reference. Rational does however imply thought and analysis, but sometimes actions come from a different place/process.

I've always like Mel, he's done a ton of great movies, which is his only purpose in my life. I'm not sure what the story is here but I love the way Arty Lange put it..... "I hate Fing UTube!"

He goes on to say that after UTube came out he was getting daily calls from his lawyer about broadcasts people put on UTube of his; ha, ha; can you imagine?

Too bad for Mel

The Light exists, but that doesn't mean you are standing in it. Sometimes acting insanely is the rational or natural response. And which "place/process" would that be..can you delineate and define which place your "actions/process comes" from in any instance? .

Metaphorically when you absorb the darkness within you then have choices to make, until then there is no telling when they will catch up to you. As I said I wallow in my "personality defects" they are mine, all mine..and I do try very hard to improve upon them, or as Mother would say, "practice makes perfect" So as I have said for the last 20 years I am perfect in my imperfections

I can banter about lightly as I can afford that luxury, as I paid the price. But make no mistake I never forget the emotion. When U can grab that live wire of pure emotion and hold it close then all that noise I hear in your head will start to go away. Then you will have some clarity as to why, and if you want you can start to delineate and define as your intelectual process dictates.

I think this is a fair assesment, and it has taken me a bit of time to articulate with some clarity.
