The only reason that it is hilarious that Normy is on gayaviator is that he has frequently denied that he is gay.

I too thought snipe was joking until curiosity got the best of me and i clicked on the link.

He claimed to be straight in a thread in the 928 tech forums a few weeks ago. Not that i care or anything. If a man wants to swallow swords, that's his own business, not mine.

Norm's original site-is-a-waste post attacked PP. Wayne is remarkably tolerant of members using his bandwidth to complain about him, not that it happens much, but I think using PP to attack PP as a business is crossing the line, in my view.

Snipe's subsequent gayviator post is a blatant and pointless personal attack. It had nothing to do with the subject of the original post. It is no different than starting a new thread on a member's sexual preferences, which is unacceptable, I think.

I think both posts are inappropriate and equally deserving of sanction. I also think that members who are chasing personal vendettas through multiple sites and forums need to knock it off, or confine their vendettas to forums other than PP.

I think that Normy is as nutty as a squirrel turd and the original premise of this thread is wrong on many levels.

That said, I am completely opposed to attacking him over the fact that he is gay. (If in fact he is). To do so reflects really badly on this board in general and certain members in particular. It's wrong and it's a line that should not be crossed, IMO.

Even after wacko Normy keeps swearing that he is not gay in multiple other posts? The lad is bouncing off of the walls, saying things that make most normal people wonder.

Not so sure that the post was attacking that he was or was not gay, but proving that very little that comes out of Normy's mouth (or keyboard) is true. In this case it pretty well proves that Normy and much of his life, at least here, is a lie...

I agree..and echo what Dot wrote earlier.

When I fly, now, no longer at the sticks, all I care about is the talent to aviate from the front of the plane.

I always listen to the radio transmissions on the head phones...you learn a lot.

Normy being gay or not is irrellavent. Most could care less. The one thing as I have repeadtidly stated is that he uses it as a political tool or to advance acceptance from others as opposed to tolerance. Once he crosses that line and is working to force a political point of view that is directly associated with his personal behavior, that is when the gloves are allowed to come off. It is not limited to just the gay thing but any issue that is politicized.
