The Wall
The Final Cut Radio KAOS Amused to Death I strongly recommend listening to each of these albums, with lyrics in hand, several times, over a period of time. They may change how you think about certain issues we face today. Roger Waters is authentic anti-establishment, anti-authoritarian.

The Final Cut gives me goose bumps every time I listen to it. Even though many consider it to be more of RW project, than PF, I still think of it as one of my favorite PF albums.
MRM nailed it. Good to see someone else that's so into PF.

IMHO, PF is probably the best band that has ever existed... They had melody, purpose, and made the listener think of the ramifications of what they were hearing.... You grew emotionally as a PF listener and I believe you grew musically as a PF listener.... most bands will either give you one or the other depending on which of their songs you are listening to but finding both to me is rare.... later years Beatles songs come to mind as well...

My $.02.
Was a huge fan of PF in my el lay youth. Thought The Wall/The Final Cut were their best. I no longer think that - back to DSOTM. The Wall/RW to me remain self indulgent and banal. I knew story back int he day of Anzio and When the Tigers Broke Free (I actually have in on a 45) - so are we today to believe that the grown up-bitter-self indulgent rock star is justified because his father followed orders while fighting the Nazis? This question has kept e from enjoying The Wall as an adult. That said, I still get a hard on for the sax ending to Two Suns in the Sunset!
