I just love it when this question is asked.
![]() I have actually had it extended almost this far when lifting the car: no need to really push the limits.

Sail, Where do you jack it from to get that height? The engine I would think...

What ever model you get, check to see if you can get some rebuild parts (for the hyds).
My aluminum jack that crapped out doesn't have parts to fix it. What a waste... |

only 5 or 6 - it's nothing like the other repeated threads - 2nd tier at best

The engine just behind the sump plate. 2 minutes, its up and on jack stands.

This isn't even extended half way and its high enough to crawl under. If I take it any higher I will put jack stands in place and raise them as the car goes up. The only time I need to take it much higher is when I pull the engine.

Subject comes up a lot I agree. But i'll have to admit that it's a legitimate question to re-ask since jacks come and go like farts in the wind (and some jacks are about as stinky as those farts). Look at Pelican's jack selection. More than 1/2 of them are NLA.

^ Good point. I'm trying to find the Arcan XL35 right now for a friend - Costco doesn't have it and I'm having trouble locating it somewhere local so he won't have to pay to ship a 100-lb jack.

better to bump one of the older threads by asking if anything is new
