At first I wondered why a 'suicide bomber' would need an accomplice to push the trigger remotely, but I've learnt its in case of cold feet

Why the hell do you need a cell phone to set of a suicide belt?
Surely there are better ways to trigger a bomb then to call yourself?
What if the network has an outage?

What's wrong with the basic battery & switch?

It's the hot ones that fly apart at the slightest provocation. In this case, 120 characters or less.

What do twitter and your mom have in common?
They can both handle 140 characters.

Perhaps its the combination of a very low-level technical device and some unstable explosive.

My wife recently mistook the cable remote for a phone and took it out with her,
it was only when she realized her mistake and set about actually trying to ring me on it (I kid you not)
....... to tell me she'd left her phone at home

Too bad, that had the makings of a great blond joke.

(I should talk. I caught my wife--an Ivy League-trained mechanical engineer--trying to use my 3/8-18 tap to drill a hole in the bottom of one of her earthenware pots for a new cactus.)

Its a deadly combination, and one that sure to knock womens lib back to the stone age.

I reckon she was sampling the ring tones for suitable Allah-esque type to 'go out on a high'

either that or hit the 'on' button popping one of justin Bieber phone slip-on case over the battery,
and got a spam message off T-mobileski at an unfortunate moment
