Not in the bar my wife and I owned.
At our bar, a pint was a US pint. 16 ounces.

We also had 12oz glasses for draft, but they were never represented to be pints.

And in the UK, a pint is an Imperial pint. 20 ounces.
And as mentioned, that's the LAW.

I bought some bacon at the store a few weeks ago, it was about a buck cheaper than the other selections and didn't look bad, I thought I was getting a deal.
The next Saturday morning I'm frying it up and that's when I realized, it was only 12 oz.

What kinda tool sells a pound of bacon that's only 12oz?

I don't care that much for popcorn but when they start messing with bacon, it's on!

A response to rising commodity prices - packaged food companies are reducing sizes while maintaining prices.

Maybe in California, but not in Seattle. Indeed, my favorite place serves beer in "Imperial" pints, which are 20 oz.

I've noticed this phenomenon too. Size 36 jeans aren't as big as they used to be.
