If my place doesn't show up as a "probable missile launch" at NORAD I consider I've failed.

I am a strong proponent of environmental concerns. But silly hippie ideas like 'Earth Day' don't really speak to me. Environmental issues are not black and white. Change cost money(or value), and thats finite. 'Green' is a worthy goal. But like every goal, it requires time.

If this is such a great energy-saving idea then why isn't it done every day?

We did it, I was all for it since candles are a "fun" source of light.

I didn't want to light candles, because the CO2 they create is bad for the environment.
