Same here. What reason has the govt given us to trust us? They continue to spend money that we do not have, our kids do not have and bankrupt us for years in the future. They hide their cockup's and we find out about them only by force. Now its finally taken years for the idiot in the justice dept to announce today that the 911 terrorists will not be tried in a civilian court.

Just who in the world is running this country? What is it going to take to get them to listen and do what we the citizens want them to do?

In this "war" the battlefield is pretty much the entire globe.
I'm all for locking terrorists up, but there needs to be transparency - a way of knowing they are locked up for legitimate reasons. I do think politicians would have, "gone to the financial and political expense of locking these terrorists up for no good reason." Why not? It's not their money. If the politicians who got us into Afghanistan and Iraq need to cover their azzes for something, I don't think they would hesitate for a moment to spend our money and lock up innocent people to do it.
