stoopid lawn mower question

So after I fell off my mower last October, the mower sat upside down for about 2 hours. Flipped it back over, let it set for a few more hours, started it up and drove it the 50 yards to the covered parking area. Ran fine but smokey, and it has sat since then.

Time to mow the lawn.

My usual start of season is to drain all the gas, put in fresh gas, change the oil and filter, and start mowing.

Do I need to do anything different this year since it ended the year under the effects of gravity?

Tough to over turn a newer riding lawn mower. We tried one for a gag on one of our shows and we ended up putting a rope on it and pulling it over.

Nope, just run it. I rolled a truck once, got a tractor in a field nearby to come over and pull the truck upright. Drove it home.

Yup. Sometimes oil can back up the breather and clog it.
