You're are absolutely right Paul.

My kids are grown up and I'm still young enough (57) and in good enough health to travel and enjoy it. Sometimes I can bring my wife on frequent flier miles. A few years ago, I brought her to Praque and London and other than what she spend shopping my costs for her were a few hundred bucks.

Disney has sent me to (in no particular order, but a brain dump): Australia, New Zealand, England, France, Italy, Czech, Germany, Slovinia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Morocco, Dominica, Barbados, St. Bartz, St. Kitz, Bahamas, Mexico, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, South Africa, Canada, Hungary, that I can think of off the top of my head. In the next year, I may be going to China and Turkey as well. Plus probably 15 or 20 states in the USA.

Barrandov Studios-Prague

Had some time to kill before a meeting. Sorry about the iPhone pics but my camera battery died.

This is Barrandov Studios, its most noteworthy claim to fame is that this is where Hitler shot his propaganda films with Josef Gerbles in the 1930's. Other films that have shot here that I know of are Prince Caspian (mine), the Brothers Grimm and VannHelsing, Triple X with Vin Diesel, Casino Royale and Mission Impossible.

Stages where Hitler shot his films, we're currently using Stage 1.

Housing where Hitler kept his Jewish film crews.

This is how the locals build large facades, its made entirely of lumber (not our set), we use steel scaffolding.

Here is an example at Barrandov Studios of what we build. This is from Prince Caspian about 4 years ago when I was here. Its steel scaffolding and non-flammable expansive foam.

Most women in Czech between 20 and 50 are very trim. Which is amazing considering that most Czech food is very high in fat. I saw a lot of very stunning women that I was too slow with the camera, or wasn't able to take a pic without being obvious about it.

Charles Bridge

From Wikipedia: "Construction started in 1357 under the auspices of King Charles IV, and finished in the beginning of the 15th century. As the only means of crossing the river Vltava (Moldau) until 1841, the Charles Bridge was the most important connection between Prague Castle and the city's Old Town and adjacent areas. This "solid-land" connection made Prague important as a trade route between Eastern and Western Europe. The bridge was originally called the Stone Bridge (Kamenný most) or the Prague Bridge (Pražský most) but has been the "Charles Bridge" since 1870."

On this one below, you can see that both brass plagues are shiny in one area, the left one is a dog and the right one is Jesus or something. Don't know, but many, many people touch them and say a prayer.

Can you carry luggage and take notes at the same time? We'll be going to Istanbul on the next trip out of the country. Gotta go to Portland, OR and Michigan before that.

Here is the logline from a sitcom I have written that could be re formatted into a movie:

"Hijinks ensue as battle lines are drawn when an underachieving Son faces off with his Stepmother for control of Dad's Porsche dealership after his most recent heart attack"

This should be a "Pelican Parts Production"- think of the product placement opportunities.

Thanks for the pics of the vimen. In my limited survey of some people I have meet from Czech, the women had dark hair with very light blue eyes. A striking combination.

The show is called RETREADS -Got the pilot & next 2 episodes written along with a 13 episode guide for continuing storylines for 1st season- could be easily formatted into 90 minute movie- currently written as a clean network sitcom- could be "grossed up" with more adult humor for other venues such as cable or movie- pretty funny-you can't make this stuff up.

Want to read it?

Actually, I am expressly prohibited by Disney from reading it (not kidding). All I can politely do is suggest that you submit it to ABC Television. Sorry, don't know where.
