Milt, I'm not going to argue a "moot point", and you did the right thing for your situation. I'll just say this...would you go to a Porsche dealer to ask about tuning MFI? That's about the best analagy I can provide regarding branch managers and wire transfers. "Paypal"...is like suggesting a DME relay when a '72 won't start
![]() ps: I'd even email my routing/account info to a buyer directly...it's simply that safe. |

I had one coming to me screw up once. Some number my bank used was changed and I had the old one. Anyway, the cash sit in Atlanta till it was all sorted out, seems like the next day. Seems to show the safety of the deal, if everything ain't right, the process stops.

It's about the best, most secure deal you can get.
1. You have the car. 2. The money is transferred to your account. The bank sandbags you and arbitrages the funds for 3-7 days, then charges you a fee for the wire. 3. Now, you have the car AND the money. 4. You then send the car. Done it many times. It's a no-brainer. All the risk is on the buyer.

You know, this young lady is like no 3 at that branch. You would have thought that by referring me away from the bank didn't hurt their business. |
