Narcissistic Personality Disorder is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance and a deep need for admiration. Those with narcissistic personality disorder believe that they're superior to others and have little regard for other people's feelings. But behind this mask of ultra-confidence lies a fragile self-esteem, vulnerable to the slightest criticism.

Can a moderator please go in and remove his "girl" pictures off the chest thread, the legs/butt thread, the girls/guns thread and anywhere else he posted them?

The first step is admitting you have a problem.

I have the impression that a lot of posters here think he was actually a sniper. He wasn't. He let it slip on some thread years ago that an M21 sniper is a rifle he loves. In another thread he let it slip that he worked in the motor pool as a mech.
He also projected that he'd spent a lot of time in the Army. He said he volunteered back during Nam because he was a super patriot. Maybe, dunno. Maybe he was about to be drafted and enlisted to maybe get some choice of what he'd be doing. My guess is he spent 3 or 4 years and got out, dunno. He wouldn't say when asked. Byron asked him several times how the renovation was going on the old fire house he'd moved into. He'd never reply. i suspect he was a renter, but again, dunno. In any case, interesting human being. I think to myself, what's this 40 year old guy going to be doing with his life 10 years from now? Here or gone, doesn't matter to me. I badgered him a lot over the years here, but I really bear no malice towards him. I feel sorry for him if I feel anything. Hope he finds happiness.

I think some people took his stuff far more personal than he did.
Later Sniper. Its odd, cause I was just looking at a 928 today and I thought of him.

40 year old vet from Nam? The numbers don't match up.
Maybe a vet, but a short timer I imagine. He left a lot to the imagine, as he didn't answer questions. I won't miss him. Quote:

start here:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/6009915-post3143.html and work backwards. too bad, really. i'll miss sniper. too much thumbing his nose at the moderators, methinks, along with pushing the edge. i'd love to have a beer with him. hell, i'd like to have a beer with nearly anyone here.

If he is 40 these days, he wasn't even born during Viet Nam. At best, he was 4 YO when Saigon fell. He wasn't even a teen when the M21 was phased out, although some units still have that weapon as part of a training mission. Maybe he was part of some unique unit.

i don't recall him saying nam. unless i am mistaken, he talked about desert storm. obviously, a 40 year old couldn't have 'teered for nam. i am 41, which would have made me about 6 when nam was over for the USA.

Let's see...say ya walk into an empty bar except a friend you haven't seen for a while turns around on his stool and says, No more Montezuma's revenge; it's all done with.
Your response might not be, OK, what did I miss?

Mechanic makes sense with the weapon fixation. Combat arms guys usually don't have weapons outside the job.
