Congratulations! She is gorgeous!! Love that name too!
As the father of a wonderful daughter myself (11 going on 35) let me tell you that you have many really great things to look forward to! And just remember this: In your daughters eyes: The older she gets...the smarter you get. By the time she is married and has kids of her own...she'll think your pretty smart...till then...well..... |

Congratulations!!!! I hope you enjoy her company as much I enjoy my two girls. BTW; My oldest loved my Porsche 944. She got to ride in front next to Daddy (no airbags) and she was a little let down when it went away after I bought the 911. At first she didn't like "The silly Red Bug" because it was too noisy. Now she loves it- just like the ad on TV! I expect that she is going to be missing the bus a lot when she is older.

Congrats to both of you!! When I was younger, I didn't think I wanted kids. From the moment my first girl was born, I realised I was mistaken. I have two now, 2 and 7, and they are my pride and joy. I wouldn't have it any other way. By the way, have you moved west yet? Michael

So Shawn takes the checkered flag, and I can't even get out of the pits! Hell, I can't even find the car right now!

Congradulations Shawn! Looks like there is going to be a mini fraternity of us Pelicanheads- my first is due in May. I'm sure we'll be trading notes at 3:00am, the only North Americans on line at that time!

Congratulations!
For a Father, a baby girl at birth owns your heart; but she will steal it away many many times in the years ahead. I have never experienced, nor could I describe, the love I have for my most perfect little girl. Certainly, your best years are before you now! Best wishes for your daughter, your wife and you, Kurt |

Congratulations...........the bond will be like nothing you've ever had before.
My princess is ten, seems like yesterday she was just born. Don't want to blink my eyes, she'll be gone, on with her life. SLOW DOWN, cherish every moment. Don't tell Mom she was outside in her Pajamas. She wanted to be with Dad.
