Another host car I would like a chance to drive next year, the new GT40.

Some others that are probably not on our drivers group list.

Back at the shop.... I actually put the 308 in that position. It took several tries and my left calf was killing me after slaving away on that Ferrari clutch.

That's not a GTO body. 288 GTOs had sexy gills behind the rear wheel arches.

My Pleasure. I do admit total ignorance of the GTO designation. My cousin is considering buying that GTO modification. I might tell him about those proper gills.

The Daytona was by far my best memory. I'd love to have that car over the other three I drove. It was one of those moments where I needed someone to pinch me just in case I was dreaming.

That sad car has nothing in common with a GTO, except perhaps the color. The factory wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot wrench, so take the owner's claims with 100 pounds of salt. Your host, well....

I'm surprised how many fake or modified Ferraris there were in attendance. That's unusual. Looks like it was a nice day.

I know of two. Are those the ones you see, or are there more?

[Edit] Hey, what is up with Ferrari always hiding the door handles?

Now this is a 288 GTO. Worth more than an F40. Not sure if I agree with that. It looks better than the F40 except for the front valance/bumper/square lights. I imagine the racing version looks better but I don't have any photos of that.

Thank for the pictures. I would have loved to been there to see. This was in northern Indiana? Hell, here in southern Indiana the only way we could fill a golf course with machinery is if all the neighbors got their John Deere's out of their barns!!! LOL... Fritz

There's definitely some differences there, and not in a good way.

I really liked the Alfa Romeo 1750 that was next to me.
