I made a deep dish pizza for the first time. There aren't any places up here that do deep dish. I copied how they do it at Lou Malnati's.
I used store bought dough. Placed it in a pan. I added mozzarella and provelone on the bottom. Then added hot sausage. Next layer was crushed tomato's. Finally I added parmesan and oregano on top. I put in the oven @ 375 degrees for 45 minutes. First time out was pretty good. ![]()

If you have a "Wegman's" nearby, their pre-baked crust is very good. Last week my wife made fresh pesto, spread on the crust, add mozzarella and chicken, bake, Yum!
