I think so...

We could rename it the Dodge version of a VW Doka...

Needless to say, SWs have been tweaked good and bad. My dad had a '59 Olds for a short time.

I remember he went out and had glass packs installed and it was kinda goofy. He was in advertising and had a client that sold mufflers. So, I guess he obliged.

I wanted so badly to race karts in that era and I was 14. He and my mom played golf every weekend. So they gave the wagon to a friend of mine that worked at a gas station on the corner to transport our karts out to the track. He was 18.

No fooking wonder I'm such an independent SOB. I had to grow myself up without a dad or siblings. Golf orphan. No tears. I had it a hell of a lot better than most.

But that station wagon was a big part of a couple of years in my life.

He sold it and bought a Lincoln Continental and continued to own LC's for the rest of his life.

Horrid cars.
